Interested in the IEP Universities Program? Sign Up Now for an Orientation Webinar

April 2, 2014—To recognize universities that are leaders in spurring and promoting regional economic development, APLU’s Commission on Innovation (CICEP) created the Innovation and Economic Prosperity Universities program.

The 2015 cohort of institutions participating in the program will be getting underway in June, starting with a workshop on June 11 in San Diego, immediately following the CICEP/CEO Summer Meeting. If you are interested in engaging your institution in the process for 2015, join us to learn more during one of our upcoming orientation webinars. Leaders from the 16 institutions that received the designation in 2013, and the nearly 30 institutions who have been participating in the 2014 cohort, have all reported that the self-study and stakeholder engagement they have undertaken as part of the application process have been tremendously helpful in shaping their universities’ assessment of existing university economic engagement efforts, and planning and implementation of new efforts.
