APLU’s Dr. Andréa Rodriguez Named Nominee for NASPA’s 2023 Mena Valdez Award

Dr. Andréa Rodriguez, Director of Urban Initiatives at APLU and the Coalition of Urban Serving Universities, was nominated for the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators’ (NASPA) 2023 Mena Valdez Award. The nomination recognizes her longstanding work to advance Latino/a/x students and professionals in higher education.

The award recognizes a NASPA member outside of the Latinx/a/o Knowledge Community (LKC) membership that has supported the work of the LKC by providing support and encouragement toward the success of an organization with specific focus in advancing HSI and Latino/x/a community efforts.
