The MTE-Partnership has attracted funding for a range of activities supporting its work.
- MTE-Partnership Hub: Over the years, the MTE-Partnership has received a number of awards to coordinate the overall work of the partnership, including funding from the National Science Foundation, the Helmsley Charitable Trust, 100Kin10, and the S.D. Bechtel, Jr. Foundation.
- Student Engagement in Mathematics through an Institutional Network for Active Learning (SEMINAL): A National Science Foundation-funded project aimed at better understanding how to sustain success in implementing active learning in undergraduate mathematics classes and how to influence similar success at other institutions.
- Mathematics of Doing, Understanding, Learning and Educating for Secondary Schools (MODULE(S2)): A National Science Foundation-funded project aimed at improving preservice secondary mathematics teachers’ mathematical knowledge for teaching.
- Attaining Excellence in Secondary Mathematics Clinical Experiences with a Lens on Equity: A National Science Foundation-funded project exploring how a continuum of collaborative and student-focused clinical experiences, such as co-planning /co-teaching and paired placement models, impact pre-service teachers’ equitable instructional practices.
- Using Networked Improvement Communities to Design and Implement Program Transformation Tools for Secondary Mathematics Teacher Preparation (NIC-Transform): A National Science Foundation-funded project with the goal of applying a networked improvement community (NIC) approach to collaboratively propagating and implementing tools to support the transformation of secondary mathematics teacher programs.
