Faculty Engagement

Improving student success pathways to achieve stronger retention and graduation rates in higher education requires multifaceted approaches. Leadership—from both administrators and faculty—serves an important role in developing, shaping, and advancing these pathways.

Working groups comprised of faculty members and administrators supporting the Collaborating for Change initiative explored diverse student success issues and strategies from the vantage point of faculty and administrators. These Leadership Briefs highlight specific findings and recommendations related to: faculty engagement, technology use, financial indicators, and bottleneck courses.
