Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies

Our nation's public land-grant universities provide essential research, education, and extension services that address important local, regional, national, and global problems. While both public and private funds help support research, development, and outreach in this sector, the U.S. Department of Agriculture's (USDA) National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) is the most significant source of funding.
