APLU’s Julia Chadwick and Megan Tesene presented on using digital courseware to help drive course redesign efforts in gateway courses at Gardner Institute’s Symposium on Transforming the Foundational Postsecondary Experience. They shared lessons from previous grant work, highlighting the strategies and practices university exemplars employed to cultivate faculty buy-in, build relationships among campus stakeholders, and support departmental-level efforts to adopt new technologies and implement quality pedagogy in gateway courses at scale.
