APLU’s Julia Michaels led a workshop at the Annual Conference on the First-Year Experience hosted by the National Resource Center at University of South Carolina. The workshop helped institutions identify and address loss points that knock students off the path graduation and connect those loss points to institutional solutions, with the aim of addressing barriers facing low-income, minority, and first-generation students.
