Join us for the 2025 BAA Leadership Meeting & New Administrators Orientation from July 14 through July 16 in Washington, DC.
The BAA Leadership Meeting brings together elected and appointed leaders of the
- Academic Programs Section,
- Administrative Heads Section,
- agInnovation,
- Cooperative Extension Section,
- International Agriculture Section,
- Communications and Marketing Committee, and
- CARET Executive Committee.
The Budget and Advocacy Committee and the Committee on Legislation and Policy will meet online prior to the Leadership meeting so their members can fully participate with their sections.
Attendees will discuss sectional business, provide program and partnership updates, set advocacy priorities, and identify strategic opportunities for the BAA. This year’s meeting will emphasize advocacy priorities around key initiatives, including the capacity initiative and the Roadmap developed by agInnovation and Extension. Discussions will focus on drafting a comprehensive strategy for FY2027, future Farm Bills, and a long-term approach to increasing federal funding.
