APLU joined a letter with the education research community expressing strong concerns with proposed cuts to the Institute of Education Sciences in the House FY2016 Labor-HHS-Education appropriations bill recently passed out of committee. The letter notes the importance of education research to advancing teaching and learning and the ultimate negative consequences of such cuts on students.
