Download the APLU Mobile App Before the Meeting Starts
November 6, 2013—The 126th APLU Annual Meeting officially starts this Sunday. This year’s Annual Meeting will be the largest ever held in Washington, DC with more than 1,250 leaders from public higher education scheduled to attend. The APLU Annual Meeting has become the premier event for public university leaders to share opinions on emerging topics, gain valuable professional development experience, and meet colleagues from across the nation. With the myriad challenges facing public higher education, it has never been more important for university officials to come together and discuss strategies for the future.
All those registered for the Annual Meeting should have received an invitation to download the Annual Meeting App. This year, APLU has partnered with CrowdCompass on the new Annual Meeting App—native for both Apple and Android users and on the Web for Windows and Blackberry devices.
After you download and launch the app, log in by creating an account with CrowdCompass or link to an existing social media platform. The Annual Meeting app allows you to network during the Annual Meeting, plan your schedule, bookmark activities, find locations in the hotel, follow and contribute to social media feeds, and much more. Search APLU in the iTunes or Play store.
