The Voluntary System of Accountability (VSA) team is looking for institutions to highlight on the @VSAvoice Twitter stream this fall. The VSA is an initiative developed by APLU and the American Association of State Colleges and Universities (AASCU) to supply clear, accessible, and comparable information on the undergraduate student experience to important constituencies through a common web report – the College Portrait.
The VSA is seeking to help participating campuses promote what makes them an exceptional choice for students, an important investment for policymakers, and a valuable asset for their community by sharing tweetable facts from their College Portraits. The goal is to increase traffic to individual College Portraits, so each tweet will include a link to the relevant page of the featured institution’s College Portrait.
Because the strength of VSA institutions is their diversity, we encourage campuses to take a look at their College Portrait pages and send a few items they’d like to spotlight. Submited Tweets will be sent from the @VSAvoice Twitter account starting in mid-September and the campaign will run throughout the fall. If you send more than one tweet for your institution, they will be sent out on different days. Help boost the signal by retweeting tweets featuring your institution from your institutional Twitter accounts! To participate, please email the text of the tweets (or even a tidbit to feature) to email@example.com.
VSA would be happy to retweet any tweets your institution sends that includes links to your College Portrait. To make it easy by taging VSA’s Twitter handle (@VSAvoice) or use the #CollegePortrait hashtag in the tweet. Don’t forget to follow VSA at @VSAvoice.
