ACRL Assessment in Action Project Releases Results from Year One, Seeks Applications for Year Three

The Association of College & Research Libraries (ACRL) is seeking applications from higher education institutions for 100 teams to participate in the third year of “Assessment in Action: Academic Libraries and Student Success (AiA).

Each campus team will develop and implement an action-learning project which examines the impact of the library on student success and contributes to assessment activities on campus. Read full details about participating and apply online by 5 p.m. Central, Wednesday, March 4, 2014.

AiA is a three-year project sponsored by the ACRL in partnership with APLU and the Association of Institutional Research with funding from the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services. Results from the first year’s project can be found in a new report from ACRL “Academic Library Contributions to Student Success: Documented Practices from the Field” which synthesizes findings from over 70 higher education institutions from across North American and highlights promising and effective approaches to demonstrating the library’s value to students’ academic success.
