APLU Launches New Website

APLU is very pleased to launch our new website at www.aplu.org. The website is designed to provide APLU members and guests with easy, intuitive access to detailed information on the association’s wide array of work, including increasing degree completion and academic success, advancing scientific research, and expanding engagement.

We also worked to ensure the new site prominently features our institutions, including member spotlights that highlight key accomplishments, beautiful campus photos, and the use of institutional logos in a variety of ways.

The new website, which also debuts APLU’s refreshed logo, was built using a responsive design so that it adjusts in size based on whether someone is viewing a page on their computer, tablet, or phone. This will help ensure content is easy to read and navigate regardless of how the site is being viewed.

Some other key highlights of the new site include:

  • A projects and initiatives section that presents APLU’s work in a detailed, but straightforward way.
  • A policy and advocacy section that details APLU’s work in Washington to advance federal policies that strengthen public universities and advance their work.
  • An easy to use calendar with details and registration information for all APLU meetings and events.
  • A more resourceful APLU library that includes an easy search and sort function.
  • A revamped job postings page for members to list open faculty and administrative positions.
  • A refreshed staff directory, including pictures and bios, as well as highlights of staff accomplishments.

APLU wants to thank the team at Systems Alliance, Inc. for their outstanding work to help use develop the site from start to finish.

We hope you find our new website useful and that it will improve your interactions with the association. Please know that we’ll continually update the site to help ensure you have the latest information on APLU and our work.
