Call for Submissions: Innovation and Economic Prosperity Universities Program

Submit Your Letter of Intent to Participate in the APLU Innovation and Economic Prosperity Universities Program by September 4, 2015

APLU’s Commission on Innovation, Competitiveness, and Economic Prosperity (CICEP) invites your university to participate in the 2016 Innovation and Economic Prosperity Universities designation program.

The Innovation and Economic Prosperity (IEP) Universities program recognizes institutions for their economic engagement efforts to advance regional or national economic development. The designation comprises of the following activities: (1) institutional economic engagement self-study and stakeholder engagement, (2) participation in a peer learning community with other institutions that have received the designation and that are aspiring to it, and (3) designation application preparation and submission. Universities that have received the designation are eligible to apply to APLU’s Innovation and Economic Prosperity Universities awards program.

The deadline to submit letter of intent to participate in the 2016 IEP Universities designation program is September 4, 2015. If your institution would like to participate, please send an email to cicep@aplu.org expressing interest. We will follow up with more information, including a template for a letter of intent from your president or chancellor.
