APLU is pleased to support the 2016 John N. Gardner Institute for Excellence in Undergraduate Education Gateway Course Experience Conference, April 3 – 5, 2016 in Atlanta, GA.
The event brings together hundreds of institutional leaders, faculty, student success specialists, teaching and learning technology and institutional research professionals to create and/or improve support for students in historically high-failure courses and smooth the path for more students to successfully complete a degree.
APLU members are encouraged to submit a concurrent session proposal for conference. The deadline to submit is Jan. 5, 2016.
Proposals should reflect the best thinking in the field of improving institutional and student performance in gateway courses – the college credit-bearing and/or remedial courses that launch students into programs of study or majors.
More information on the conference, featured speakers, and registration deadlines can be found on the conference website.
