APLU Sends Higher Education Policy Platform to Presidential Transition Teams

APLU sent each of the presidential transition teams a paper outlining its higher education policy priorities for the next administration. The APLU Higher Education Policy Platform document includes proposals such as establishing a federal-state partnership to induce state reinvestment in public higher education, expanding college access and degree completion, appropriately enhancing institutional accountability to protect students and taxpayers, and improving transparency of higher education outcomes by increasing available data.
