APLU-backed Effort to Transform Undergraduate Math through Active Learning Seeks New University Partners; Applications Due October 1

An APLU-backed, National Science Foundation-funded effort to better understand how to sustain success in implementing active learning in undergraduate mathematics classes and drive similar success at other institutions is aiming to expand its network. The initiative, known as Student Engagement in Mathematics through an Institutional Network for Active Learning or SEMINAL, is currently seeking prospective partners willing to submit proposals. Selected partners are eligible for a grant of up to $100,000 as they join a network to transform pre-calculus to calculus 2 courses. Visit the SEMINAL website to learn more about the work and how you can apply.
