As part of APLU INCLUDES, the National Science Foundation-sponsored project aimed at increasing STEM faculty diversity, APLU asks institutional leaders and faculty engaged in STEM diversity efforts to complete a survey on their institutions’ initiatives to increase the participation of underrepresented groups in STEM pathways.
The STEM-OP survey (Survey To Expand & Maximize Opportunity in the Professoriate), aims to identify promising evidence-based programs and practices institutions are using to broaden participation along the STEM Pathway towards academic and research careers (i.e., focused on undergraduate, graduate, and post-doc pool development). The survey will advance APLU’s understanding of evidence-based practices working to increase participation of underrepresented groups in STEM fields and how institutions can align efforts to maximize impact.
Each time an institution completes the survey, that institution will be automatically entered into a drawing to win one (1) priority registration to APLU’s 2018 INCLUDES Summit and two nights’ hotel accommodations for the summit. The summit will take place on April 24-25, 2018, in Alexandria, VA. This package will be available for up to 20 institutions.
