Emily van Loon, APLU’s CFO and Treasurer, to Step Down January 31. APLU Actively Seeking Candidates to Fill the Role

Emily van Loon, APLU’s CFO and Treasurer, announced she will step down from that role at the end of January 2020. Her eight-year tenure has been marked by strong financial controls and major contributions to the great expansion of APLU’s grant-funded and programmatic work. This combination has enabled the association to massively expand its collaborative work with member institutions.

“We’ll greatly miss the unique blend of analytic ability, grace, tirelessness, and programmatic expertise Emily brings to APLU every day,” said APLU President Peter McPherson. “During her time here, her infectious positive attitude has brightened every part of APLU’s work. We congratulate her on an extraordinary job well done.”

APLU is now actively searching for candidates interested in serving in the role of CFO and Treasurer.
