APLU’s Dr. Andréa Rodriguez Named NASPA 2023 Mena Valdez Awardee

This week, the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA) named Dr. Andréa Rodriguez, Director of Urban Initiatives at APLU and the Coalition of Urban Serving Universities, a Mena Valdez awardee. The award recognizes her longstanding work to advance Latino/a/x students and professionals in higher education.

The Mena Valdez Award recognizes a NASPA member outside of the Latinx/a/o Knowledge Community (LKC) membership that has supported the work of the LKC by providing support and encouragement toward the success of an organization with specific focus in advancing HSI and Latino/x/a community efforts.
