APLU & Member Institutions Meet with Biden Administration to Discuss Workforce Development and Community Engagement

As part of the APLU Commission on Economic Engagement (CECE) Summer Meeting, the CECE executive committee met with the Biden Administration’s Domestic Policy Council at the White House to discuss the important role and impact public research universities have on workforce development and community engagement. The hour-long meeting provided an opportunity for APLU and CECE executive committee members to highlight how public universities access Federal, state, and private funding to help develop the workforce American businesses need to grow and innovate to create jobs for tomorrow.
