Join APLU-led Professional Development Opportunity for Addressing Gateway Course Barriers at Your Institution
Gateway courses remain one of the greatest hurdles to student success, yet many institutions face challenges in addressing barriers in these courses. To help members improve student outcomes, APLU invites your institution to participate in Improving Student Access and Success in Introductory Courses, a free 12-week professional development program for academic administrators and departments launching in 2025. The Office of Digital Transformation for Student Success at APLU has received support from the Every Learner Everywhere network to provide a cohort of three to five APLU institutions with customized coaching to successfully redesign introductory courses. This program empowers cross-campus teams to improve student success in introductory courses through strategic use of data, digital tools, and high-impact teaching practices.
