Register for New USU-APLU Urban Adult Learner Institute

The Coalition of Urban Serving Universities (USU), in collaboration with APLU, recently launched the Urban Adult Learner Institute (UALI), a self-paced professional development program designed to support faculty, staff, and administrators in improving outcomes for adult learners, specifically students over the age of 25 who are earning a bachelor’s degree.

Through four engaging modules, UALI provides evidence-based strategies focused on adult learners’ transitions into, through, and beyond college, as well as their career pathways and the role community partnerships play in their success. UALI participants earn digital badges for each module completed and become certified Adult Learner Advocates after completing all four.
