During Friday’s Bowling Green State University Board of Trustees meeting, it was revealed that interim President Rodney Rogers has been elevated to the permanent post of president. Megan Newlove, chairman of the board of trustees, announced that the board decided to promote from within when selecting the university’s 12th president. “We believe the best person to lead the University is already in place. Please join me in welcoming Dr. Rodney Rogers, a BGSU alumnus, as the University’s 12th president,” she said in a letter to alumni and friends.
