The U.S. Supreme Court ruling last Thursday offered an important victory for those enrolled in the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, which provides temporary deferred status to immigrants who were brought to the U.S. as children. Some 700,000 participants are enrolled in DACA, providing them status to live, work, and study here without fear of being deported.
