Abigael Eshete, a recent graduate from the University of Maryland, College Park, has become a member of the APLU team as an associate in the office of STEM Education & Research policy.
Prior to joining APLU, Abigael gained invaluable experience as a Legislative Fellow at The Maryland General Assembly. During her time here, she exhibited exceptional skills in conducting in-depth research and proficiently analyzing proposed legislation. Her academic journey, centered around Government and Political Science, with a focused concentration in International Relations and double major in Criminology and Criminal Justice, along with a minor in Science, Technology, Ethics, and Policy, has endowed her with a comprehensive understanding of the intricate interplay between research, politics, and technology.
Abigael is an ardent advocate for effecting positive change in the world and firmly believes that research, policy, and technology serve as potent catalysts for accomplishing this mission. Her passion for excellence and commitment to the advancement of STEM Education & Research policy make her a valuable asset to our organization.
