Rifa Ariella

Rifa Ariella is a Manager supporting the Council on Academic Affairs at APLU. In this role, she assists the Assistant Vice President of the Council on Academic and Student Affairs, contributing to projects that advance higher education student success and career readiness. She also works on various projects and initiatives in the Office of the President.

Before joining APLU, Rifa served as an Executive Associate at Montgomery College, working alongside the Achieving Collegiate Excellence and Success (ACES) pathway program to support students’ transition to and success in higher education. Her experience also includes policy-focused internships with organizations such as The National Association of Workforce Boards and The Education Trust, where she provided communications support.

Rifa earned her Associate of Arts in Communications from Montgomery College and later completed her Bachelor of Arts in Communications at Trinity Washington University in 2021.
