Audrey Hanger

Audrey is a recent graduate from the University of Virginia where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Media Studies. 

During her undergraduate studies, Audrey held several internships across the university, including positions in the Office of the Vice President for Research, the Office of Finance, the Economics Department Career Office, and the McIntire School of Commerce Dean’s Office. She also completed an internship in Lund, Sweden focused on global sustainability initiatives.

As an Associate in the Office of International Engagement, she supports the Commission on International Initiatives (CII) by helping coordinate programs, communications, and member engagement efforts that advance internationalization across APLU member institutions. She is passionate about higher education and international engagement and is excited to support initiatives that strengthen global connections across the higher education community.
