Milan Ephraim is the Program Manager in the Office for International, Community and Economic Engagement. She manages the C. Peter Magrath & W.K. Kellogg Foundation Community Engagement Scholarship Awards, the Commission of Economic & Community Engagement (CECE) Summer Meeting, and provides support for government grants and internal projects.
Milan brings a wealth of experience to the team as a former non-profit association management administrative professional at Ruthie Postow Staffing. Before that, she worked as a Project Manager and Social Media content writer with AlphaVu, a D.C.-based developer of sentiment analysis and misinformation risk analytics.
Milan earned her M.A. in Communication Culture & Technology from Georgetown University and holds a B.A in Human Communication from California State University, Monterey Bay. She is a proud first-generation American of Costa Rican and Antiguan descent and is the first in her family to earn a college degree. In her free time, Milan is a novice biker and voracious podcast listener.
