Marcus Glassman serves as the Director of Governmental Affairs for Agriculture and International Development at the Association of Public and Land-grant Universities and as the Executive Director of the Council for Agricultural Research, Extension, and Teaching (CARET).
An epidemiologist by training, he has an extensive background in agricultural policy, both domestic and international, across the research, philanthropy, and advocacy sectors. Glassman is an alumnus of the Supporters of Agricultural Research (SoAR) Foundation, Chicago Council on Global Affairs, and USDA Agricultural Research Service. He holds a Master of Science in Public Health from the George Washington University and a bachelor’s degree in anthropology from Purdue University.
