It’s Fall, and that means APLU’s Annual Meeting is right around the corner! The APLU Annual Meeting will be held on November 12-14^th, in Seattle, WA. If you’re considering attending, we have a great program lined up this year. Click here to register and learn more.

As Powered by Publics draws to a close at the end of this year, we thought we would create some space at the Annual Meeting to celebrate our collective achievements and innovation that has occurred within the clusters. PxP will host a luncheon on Sunday, November 12, from 11am-1pm, at the APLU Annual Meeting (RSVP here). We’ve invited a few engaging speakers whose universities have used PxP as a jumping off point to accelerate progress toward equitable student success. But don’t worry, there will be ample time to catch up with your colleagues informally and engage in small group discussion around the most important opportunities and challenges facing higher education today.

In this month’s issue of the newsletter, we have:

• An analysis of summer bridge programs in the Western Land-Grant Cluster of Powered by Publics;
• A toolkit on advancing transformation in higher education; and
• A request for proposals from Arnold Ventures for rigorous evaluations of student success programs.

If your institution hasn’t submitted your data for the Powered by Publics Core Data Metrics (CDM) yet and would like to do so, there is still time – the collection window will remain open until Monday, October 2.
