The Policy Board of Directors (PBD) of the Board on Agriculture Assembly (BAA) takes appropriate action on key matters affecting the interests of the member institutions and of the Assembly and is responsible to APLU for the management of Assembly affairs.
The PBD has three standing committees:

- Communications and Marketing Committee (CMC)

Elections
Pursuant to Article 3, Section 2, Subsection A(3) of the Rules of Operation of the Board on Agriculture Assembly, the Policy Board of Directors shall be elected by members of the Assembly. A slate of two (2) candidates for each open directorship will be nominated by the respective Sections or organizations from their membership and voted upon by the entire Assembly membership. Candidates shall be submitted to the Nominating Committee no later than August 1 of each year. The election shall be held by electronic or mail ballot and shall be completed no later than October 15 of each year.
The alternate for each section to the PBD would be the individual from the section or organization who was not elected to serve.
