Join the Commission on International Initiatives

The Commission on International Initiatives (CII) engages campus leaders on a wide range of topics, including global research, economic development, and Federal policies related to international students and scholars. CII provides a venue for sharing best practices to foster the development of globally competent students, internationally engaged faculty, and institutions capable of addressing global challenges.

The CII is composed of senior international officers and university leaders from APLU members interested in advancing global engagement efforts. The Commission serves as a home for members to:

• Identify critical issues, gather information, and create opportunities for sharing knowledge related to global engagement
• Work across institutions to foster the development of globally competent students, internationally engaged faculty, and institutions capable of addressing global challenges
