A new APLU task force on Managing University Intellectual Property began its work today by examining the purposes of university innovation, technology transfer, commercialization, and entrepreneurship, including a review of related materials and input from APLU members.
Eight researchers from several disciplines were celebrated at the third annual Golden Goose Award ceremony for their roles in improving the health of premature infants and in paving the way for the telecommunications and supercomputing revolutions.
The third annual Golden Goose Award Ceremony will take place on September 18, 2014 on Capitol Hill. Individual or teams of scientists will be awarded the GGA in front of their peers in the scientific community, Members of Congress and their staff, and members of the scientific advocacy and policy community in Washington, DC.
