Urban Adult Learner Institute (UALI)
The APLU and Coalition of Urban Serving Universities Urban Adult Learner Institute (UALI) works to build awareness around the needs and assets of adult learners, disseminate best practices on serving them, and advance national momentum in better serving these students.

Student Experience Project (SEP)
The Student Experience Project is using more than a decade of social psychology research showing positive experiences of community, belonging, and support on campus and in the classroom can increase a student’s likelihood of persevering through academic challenges.

Mentorship for Academic & Personalized Student Success (MAPSS) Initiative
MAPSS supports APLU member institutions in building sustainable, data-informed peer mentorship programs that strengthen student connection, engagement, and success.

Employability Skills in Agriculture & Natural Resources
Administrators of colleges of food, agriculture, and natural resources surveyed alumni and employers to consider specific skills and experiences that enhance student and workforce outcomes. These reports focus on employability skills—the nontechnical skills used in the workforce.
