The American Student Agenda

The American Student Agenda is a national effort focused on defining and advancing the conditions that help students thrive during and after college. Developed with institutional leaders and national higher education organizations, the initiative explores how colleges and universities can better support academic progress, career readiness, student well-being, economic mobility, and long-term public value.

The agenda is intended to foster collaboration across sectors and institutional types while recognizing the distinct missions and contexts of participating institutions. Through convenings, shared commitments, institutional examples, and ongoing dialogue, the initiative encourages colleges and universities to reflect on how they communicate priorities, align support structures, and demonstrate impact to students, families, employers, and policymakers.
