As a network partner of Every Learner Everywhere, the PLC provides support to public universities for the Adaptive Courseware for Early Success (ACES) initiative. The initiative centers around the use of adaptive courseware to improve student success outcomes to eliminate the equity gap for low-income students, students of color, and first-generation students.
Currently, the PLC provides deep-level technical assistance to the following participating institutions:
Florida International University
University of Central Florida
Cleveland State University
University of Toledo
University of Texas at El Paso
University of Texas, Rio Grande Valley
If you are interested in learning more about the ACES initiative or participating in a future cohort, please contact Megan Tesene, Associate Director of the Personalized Learning Consortium.
Every Learner Everywhere is a diverse network of 12 organizations that seeks to expand the use of adaptive learning in foundational courses to improve course outcomes and boost retention and graduation levels while eliminating the equity gap for low-income students, students of color, and first-generation students.
As a member of the Every Learner Everywhere network, PLC is supporting the ACES initiative among other network initiatives. The first phase of the ACES initiative targets three states – Texas, Ohio, and Florida. In subsequent phases, the initiative will expand nationwide with plans to reach approximately 200 institutions.
